This ergonomically designed carbon steel tool includes a safety lock-pin and contoured handles for easy grip and painless use. The tool has 4 crimping positions for use with aluminum, copper and stainless round or double sleeves from 0.1mm to 2.2mm. Built-in line cutters on both sides can be used for cutting cable or monofilament. Carbon Steel is harder than stainless steel. This is an important feature while crushing other metal and sleeves. Compared to the previous Spear PRO Carbon steel version this improved crimping tool is forged rather than stamped. The difference is the strength. Stamped tools don’t have the same press strength and will deform over time compared to forged tool steel tools.
