We excited to share our newest Sand Tiger fins- now compatible with Cressi Gara Modular Turbo Footpockets. Our blades are available in Soft and Medium stiffnesses. PLEASE measure and use the size chart, as these footpockets run large.
This foot pocket has been created to optimize the impulse carbon fin, permitting more fluid movement of the carbonfibre blade. The short rail allows the design of the blade permitting an undulating s movement to be exploited to the full. The foot pocket adapts perfectly to the plastic impulse, making it even lighter and more effective, while it finds in the sprint fin its natural home and utmost performance. The foot pocket is made with two materials and features the self-adjusting system already seen on the gara modular. It is assembled using the same interface, with two screws and plastic plates. The novelty is that the tips of the rails are over-moulded with a third, highly reactive material in the form of two clips. This new clasp permits easy and secure assembly. Should it be necessary to change a blade, all that is needed is a slight twist on the tips to release the retaining teeth and free the blade

Outstanding performance without causing excessive leg fatigue. This is the theme behind the Maverick American carbon fiber Sand Tiger fin.
WARNING: This is not a user untested product. Working with DJ Struntz, American world class blue water hunter and professional spearfishing photographer, a fin that went missing from the industry since it came out in 2006 is back in production. Former test pilots of this fin include : Brandon Wahlers, Richard Balta & Cameron Kirkconnell. We’ve taken the new DJ Sand Tigers to 170’ spearfishing.
The intention of this fin was a redesign of a sought-after carbon fiber fin whose production was exhausted years ago, the Record 3, by renown spearfishing equipment designer Pierre Von Ecke. OMER and then C4 later used this design.
We’ve retooled the angle to be 32 degrees to be more comfortable and more efficient during the back stroke of the kick. The identifying feature of this fin are a parabolic shape that displaces more water volume in the midline section of the blade and then tapers down toward the tip to normal width.
The advantage thereby thrusting water efficiently during the strongest part of the kicking stroke in a shorter more agile fin designed specifically for the unpredictability of spearfishing situations. The DJ Sand Tiger Fin is an improvement over its predecessor; it uses a production method which combines compression molding with T700 carbon fiber, the most reliable and high-performance carbon fiber for fins.
